Muchas personas no saben que\u00a0no est\u00e1s legalmente obligado a abrir la puerta\u00a0a menos que ICE tenga una orden firmada por un juez. Mantener la calma y estar informado puede protegerte a ti y a tu familia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>No Abras la Puerta<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ICE\u00a0no puede entrar a tu casa sin una orden judicial. Si tocan, p\u00eddeles (a trav\u00e9s de la puerta) que te muestren sus documentos. Puedes pedirles que los deslicen por debajo de la puerta o que los muestren por una ventana. A menos que la orden est\u00e9\u00a0firmada por un juez\u00a0y contenga\u00a0tu nombre y direcci\u00f3n correctos,\u00a0no est\u00e1s obligado a dejarlos entrar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pide Ver la Orden<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Existen dos tipos de \u00f3rdenes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u00d3rdenes administrativas (Formularios I-200 o I-205)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 No est\u00e1n firmadas por un juez y\u00a0no le dan a ICE la autoridad legal\u00a0para ingresar a tu hogar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00d3rdenes judiciales<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Deben estar firmadas por una corte y\u00a0son las \u00fanicas \u00f3rdenes v\u00e1lidas para entrar a tu casa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Si solo tienen una orden administrativa,\u00a0puedes negarles la entrada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Permanece en Silencio o Pide Hablar con un Abogado<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tienes el\u00a0derecho a permanecer en silencio. No tienes que compartir tu estatus migratorio ni responder preguntas. Si decides hablar,\u00a0pide hablar con un abogado primero. Nunca firmes documentos sin consultar con un abogado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Documenta Todo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Si es posible, toma notas, graba videos o toma fotos del encuentro. Anota los nombres o los n\u00fameros de placa de los oficiales si puedes.
